Marilyn Karpoff is the owner, operator, and creative force behind Karpoff Affiliates LLC, with over 30 years of real estate experience. One of the founders of Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE), she is considered a retail, residential, and storage expert.
Caretaking, compassionate, and results oriented, Marilyn has vast experience in all parts of real estate. Her diverse background includes positions as Mortgage Manager at Saxon Capital; as Director of Acquisitions for New Plan, a highly respected Real Estate Investment Trust; as a commercial broker selling preconstruction, office buildings, apartment buildings, shopping centers, as well as managing development; and as an exclusive broker for Storage USA and Extra Space. Marilyn has now developed a new model based on compassion and care to make all real estate transactions and all aspects of transitional changes as easy as possible.
When asked what her company’s specialty was, she replied, “It is very difficult to be experts in every type of real estate, although we try, but what we have succeeded in mastering is perhaps the most important aspect of real estate and that is customer service and attention to detail.” Ms. Karpoff went on to explain that there are countless real estate companies both good and bad and large and small but there are very few companies that combine real estate expertise, market proficiency, extensive buyer and seller databases, with personal detailed customer service.
Marilyn grew up in the Lower East side and cares for her neighbors throughout the city.
